I buy dyed veneers where I can get what I need for a good price. B&B Rare Woods is a great source, but there were some specific colors I preferred buying from LMI before they closed, even though they were more expensive. It looks like StewMac is now carrying the colors I used to get from LMI:

Good to hear, I suggested to Chris Herrod that they pick up those colored veneers since many were asking where to get them. I'm sure I'm not the only one who suggested it or they were working on bringing them in already.

I've had trouble with LMI's blue and green veneers fading dramatically (fugitive) within 5-7 years. The .3mm black is good stuff, though. B&B veneers have remained colorfast. Koto is awfully coarse, however. I much prefer their poplar, which I believe they call tulipier.
